Over the last few years, HiSilicon Kirin is leading in the mobiles chip market, but in 2022 the company has gone so far with the record-breaking new chipsets. We’ve seen some amazing chipsets like HiSilicon Kirin 980, HiSilicon Kirin 9000 that made into top 5 the AnTuTu 9 benchmarks, HiSilicon Kirin 9000 that was launched in Huawei Mate 50 Pro, and many more smartphones. Now we have the full specs and full complete details of the HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G).

HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) shows the best AnTuTu 9 scores. We can see the big jump in GPU performance. The total performance of the GPU is 161429, which is slower than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860. The CPU also shows one of the best scores. It is 143538 which is slower than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860. The memory scores also show a significant boost. HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) memory is faster than Snapdragon 855, HiSilicon Kirin 980. The memory scores107678. The Ux is also showing one of the best performances. It is 84092, which is faster than Snapdragon 855, HiSilicon Kirin 980. Total scores are above 501698. It will depend on which smartphones manufacturers use this chipset with which type of ram. HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) is considerably gaining a performance boost and beating some of the latest processors in the midrange category.

HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) lunched with the Big 2 cores of Corex A76 at 2.86GHz which is ultra-high performance cores, and 2 big cores of Cortex-A76 which is high-performance cores that are clocked on 2.09 GHz. The other 4 cores is based on Cortex-A55 which is power efficiency cores. The Cortex-A76 also has the best speeds and good set instruction architecture. There are a total of 8 cores with a boost clock of 2.86 GHz. Kirin 990 (4G) has the latest set instruction architecture. It is considerably fast and strong enough to beat some of the latest and most powerful midrange Chipsets. HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) is fabricated on 7Nm. This means Kirin 990 (4G) will be power efficient and will consume less battery and will produce less heat.

 HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) has a new architecture-based GPU. Bifrost is the new architecture that they are using in the Kirin 990 (4G). The GPU is also manufactured using the 7Nm technology. Which means it will be power efficient. The name of the GPU is Mali G76 MP16. This is the fastest GPU in this lineup. The HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) is fast enough to handle games like FREE FIRE, PUBG MOBILE at high FPS. The GPU score is faster than the HiSilicon Kirin 980 this means there will be a smooth gaming experience on this chipset. The GPU is clocked at 600MHz. The shading units are also 256 which will help in rendering the graphics in gaming. There is also DirectX support of 12 which means this processor will support the latest games without any bugs and delays.

 HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) uses the new LPDDR4x ram with the memory frequency of 2133MHz and uses the bus of 4×16. The ram may be changed according to the smartphones. The memory frequency is also going to be changed according to smartphones. The max memory bandwidth is 34.1Gbit/s which is also faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 which was used in OnePlus 7 Pro. The max ram support is 12GB.

 HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) uses the Da Vinci which is fast with the AI calculations. HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) uses the UFS 2.0 and UFS 3.0 which is fast. This gives you fast read and writing speeds.

HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) have the maximum display support of QuadHD+ and can support the 120Hz refresh rate with the super Amoled. HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) is going to be very aggressive when it comes to a camera support. It supports a camera of up to 108MP. The video capture is kept on 4k at 60FPS and the video playback is also 4k at 60FPS. There is no 8k support on this  Kirin 990 (4G).

HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) has no 5G support. The HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) also comes with the wi-fi 6 and the Bluetooth version of 5.0. This will give you better signals and better speeds. Kirin 990 (4G) uses the Balong 765 4G modem. This is not fast as the X55 but it gives you fast download and upload speeds.

Gaming experience on this chipset is going to be a little faster than the HiSilicon Kirin 980. This chipset is combined with the 2 Big Cortex A76 cores and two Cortex-A76 which boost the performance. With 2 Big Cortex A76. The frequency of this chipset is 2.86GHz, which is good for long-term gaming. This chipset also supports the LPDDR4x ram. This means there will be no issues with using this chipset on a long-term gaming session. This chipset also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. This will help in smooth performance with low latency. This chipset is can support PUBG MOBILE at 60FPS, this is because of the scores of the GPU. The CPU also scores well. This chipset is capable of good gaming and good overall performance.
