MediaTek Dimensity 8000:

Over the last few years, Mediatek is leading in the mobiles chip market, but in 2020 the Mediatek launched Mediatek Dimensity Series and we’ve seen some amazing chipsets like MediaTek Dimensity 1000, MediaTek Dimensity 1100 which was launched in Poco X3 GT, MediaTek Dimensity 1200 that was launched in Poco F3 GT and many more smartphones. Now we have the full specs and full complete details of the MediaTek Dimensity 8000, let’s start off with the benchmarks.

AnTuTu 9:

MediaTek Dimensity 8000 shows one of the best Antutu 9 scores. We can see the big jump in the GPU performance. The total performance of the GPU is 315470, which is a bit faster than the Snapdragon 888. The CPU also shows one of the best scores. It is 197563 which Is a bit slower than the Snapdragon 888 and the Kirin 9000. The memory scores also show a significant boost.  Dimensity 8000 memory is faster than MediaTek Dimensity 1200, Snapdragon 888, Kirin 9000, and The Apple A15 Bionic. The Ux is also showing one of the best performances. It is 158160, which is faster than MediaTek Dimensity 1200, Snapdragon 888, Kirin 9000, and The Apple A15 Bionic. MediaTek Dimensity 8000 total scores are above 814170. It will depend on which smartphone manufacturers using this chipset with which type of ram. MediaTek Dimensity 8000 is considerably gaining a performance boost and beating every processor in the flagship category. This detail is based on leaks I will refresh with new data when we have more accurate data. This chipset is also faster than the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which was supposed to be an unbeatable processor.

CPU:

MediaTek Dimensity 8000 lunched with the Big 4 cores of Cortex-A78 which are ultra-high performance cores that are clocked on 2.75 GHz. The other 4 cores are based on Cortex-A55 which is a power efficiency core. There is a little disappointment that why they haven’t used the Cortex X1 or X2. But the Cortex-A78 also has the best speeds and latest set instruction architecture. There are a total of 8 cores with a boost clock of 2.75GHz. Dimensity 8000 has the latest set instruction architecture. It is not considered fast, but it is strong enough to beat some of the latest and most powerful Chipsets. MediaTek Dimensity 8000 is fabricated on 5Nm. This means MediaTek Dimensity 8000 will be power efficient and will consume less battery and will produce less heat.

Graphics:

MediaTek Dimensity 8000 has a new architecture-based GPU. Valhal 3 is the new architecture that they are using in the MediaTek Dimensity 8000. The GPU is also manufactured using the 5Nm technology. Which means it will also be power efficient. The name of the GPU is Mali-G610 MC6. This is the fastest GPU in this lineup. The Dimensity 8000 upgrades the gaming experience with an octa-core CPU sporting speeds of up to 2.75GHz, plus the latest Arm Mali-G610 MC6 graphics, allowing high frame rate gaming for extended periods in top titles.

Memory:

MediaTek Dimensity 8000 uses the new LPDDR5 ram with a memory frequency of 3200 MHz and uses the bus of 4×16. The ram may be changed according to the smartphone manufacturers. Samsung is not going to use this processor, but many others will like XIAOMI, REALME, VIVO, etc. The memory frequency is also going to be changed according to the smartphone manufacturers. But the memory is fast with the 3200MHz this chipset beats some fast chipsets like Snapdragon 888 Plus and many more.

Support:

Dimensity 8000 has its own neural processor, which is fast with AI calculations. MediaTek Dimensity 8000 uses the UFS 3.1 which is fast. This gives you fast read and writing speeds.

MediaTek Dimensity 8000 has the maximum display support of QUAD HD+ and can support the 144hz refresh rate with the super Amoled. Dimensity 8000 is going to be very aggressive when it comes to a camera support. It supports a camera up to 200MP. Luckily Samsung is working on a 200MP camera sensor, which means next year smartphones going to implant this chipset with the 200MP camera. The video capture is kept on 4k at 60FPS and the video playback is also 4k at 60FPS. There is no 8k support on this Dimensity 8000.

Connectivity:

MediaTek Dimensity 8000 has 5G support. The MediaTek Dimensity 8000 also comes with the wifi 6 and the Bluetooth version of 5.3 which is the latest version. This will give you better signals and better speeds. MediaTek Dimensity 8000 is using the hyper engine 5.0 which takes 5G to the next level. This gives a boost to the 5G in the Dimensity 8000.

Gaming Experience:

The gaming experience on this chipset is going to be on another level. This chipset is combined with the 4 Big A78 cores, which boosts the performance. With 4 big Cortex A-78 cores, there are also going to be a few issues with heating. The frequency of this chipset is 2.75GHz, which is fast for long-term gaming. This chipset also supports the LPDDR5 ram. This means there will be no issues with using this chipset in a long-term gaming session. This chipset also supports a 144Hz refresh rate. This will help in smooth performance with low latency. This chipset is can support PUBG MOBILE at 90FPS, this is because of the scores of the GPU.
