Now let’s talk about the cameras. The OnePlus 9 Pro uses the 48-megapixels camera but the Huawei P50 Pro gains in camera, because they are using the 50 megapixel instead of 48 megapixels. Now let’s talk about the zoom. The Huawei P50 Pro wins in zooming because, it is using the 3.5x times instead of 3.3x on the OnePlus 9 Pro. There is no 8k support on the P50 Pro but 8k up to 30 fps supports on the OnePlus 9 Pro. So, also the plus point for the OnePlus 9 Pro. The OnePlus 9 Pro also supports 4k up to 60 fps and P50 Pro also supports that. But the clear difference comes in the slow-motion videos, because P50 Pro can support 960 fps on 1080p but, the slow-motion support on the plus 9 pro supports only 240 fps on 1080p. Now let’s talk about the camera lenses. So, OnePlus 9 Pro uses the 48 megapixel sensor that is Sony IMX 789 which is the best sensor I’ve ever known. The Huawei P50 Pro has the 50 megapixels sensor with a 23-millimeter focal length and is also named Omni vision 0v50a. They both have laser autofocus and optical image stabilization. But in telephoto, the Huawei P50 Pro uses a 64 megapixels telephoto lens and the telephoto lens on the OnePlus 9 Pro is only 8 megapixels. The Huawei P50 Pro probably gained more performance because of their pixel size, because they are using the 64-megapixel camera. The 64-megapixel telephoto lenses Omni vision ov64b. The telephoto lens on the OnePlus 9 Pro is using Omni vision ov08a10. They also have phase autofocus and optical image stabilization. The ultra-wide on the OnePlus 9 Pro smash The Huawei P50 Pro because they are using the 50-megapixels camera that is Sony IMX 766 the best camera sensor I’ve ever known in ultra-wide lenses. But in P50 Pro. They are using the 13 megapixel Omni vision rv13v10.

The Huawei P50 Pro uses the 40 megapixels camera that is only monochrome means black and white lens. Which is also Omni vision ob40a. I’m very amazed to see that, they are using the monochrome lens up to 40 megapixels and also have an aperture of F/1.6. The OnePlus 9 Pro also uses a two megapixels depth sensor. The camera features bokeh mode pro mode and raw support from both phones.

Selfie camera

Aperture F/2.0          f/2.4
Video resolution 1080p (full HD) at 30 fps 2160p (4k) at 30 fps

Now let’s move on to the selfie camera. The Selfie camera on the OnePlus 9 Pro uses a 16-megapixels Selfie camera and also has a better image resolution but no support of 4k. But the P50 Pro uses a 13-megapixels camera but can support 4k up to 30 fps. So, that’s the plus point for the Huawei P50 Pro also winning in the selfie camera. Because they are using 13 megapixels but can record 4k up to 30 fps.

Connectivity

OnePlus 9 Pro          Huawei P50 Pro
Wi-Fi 6 6
Bluetooth version 5.2             5.2
Usb type Usb type-c version 3.1          usb type-c version 3.1

Infrared port No Yes

Now let’s talk about its connectivity. They’re both using the Wi-Fi 6 with the Bluetooth version of 5.2, also have USB type C generation 3.1. They both also can support many features. They both have similar connectivity.

Network

OnePlus 9 Pro Huawei P50 Pro
Number of sim* 2 2
Hybrid slot No Yes
Lte cat* 24 20
5g support Yes no

Now let’s talk about a network. They both use the two Sims Nanotechnology. But there is no 5G support on Huawei P50 Pro. Because of the US Ban and also does not support the lte cat 24. But the OnePlus 9 Pro has the 5G support and also can support lte caT 24. There is no 3.5 millimeter headphone jack on both phones because they are flagship phones. But they do support the Dolby atoms technology for better sound performance. The Huawei P50 Pro was announced in July 2021 but the OnePlus 9 Pro was announced in march-2021. The Huawei P50 Pro was released in August 2021.

So, both phones have much similar performance when it comes to camera, display, battery, chipsets, but a few differences in the camera lenses. If you want the best camera performance then I suggest the P50 Pro because they have the best camera lenses with better software. But if you want the performance then the OnePlus 9 pro is the best choice.
