Which makes it punchier and more powerful, more colorful, and more efficient. The gaming experience is also going to be very good because of its 120Hz display and also the content watching will be brighter. Thanks to DCIP3 technology. There will be no issues using this display outside because of this 1100 nit’s brightness. Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 is using the Super AMOLED panel. Which is good that can save more battery. The display is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Which is strong enough to protect the phone. The display features an always-on display. The display is fast and power-efficient. This display has the same specification as the last-gen Realme GT 2 Pro has but a little different is in brightness.

The frame is made from plastic, which makes it lighter. There’s no IP68 water and dust resistance. But there is IP53 splash-proof certification… In this Oppo Realme GT Neo 3, we got to see the better design and the better back. Which is good to see on the Flagship phone. It’s protected by a plastic frame that’s why it makes it lighter by 188 grams. Talking about the design, the Camera bump is quite a good place. Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 comes with a display fingerprint sensor. Which are fast thanks to the ultrasonic sensor on display. I’m not a big fan of in-display fingerprint sensors but in this smartphone, it is fast and quick.

Now let’s talk about the performance of the Oppo Realme GT Neo 3. Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 comes with MediaTek Dimensity 8100. Which scores great on Antutu 9 benchmarks. It also makes the phone experience much smoother. The gaming experience is also going to be on another level. Thanks to a Super AMOLED display and 120 Hertz refresh rate with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100. The Mali-G610 MC6 is one of the powerful GPUs in a Flagship phone, which makes the Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 more powerful than other Flagship smartphones. You can play PUBG Mobile at a high frame rate thanks to the two big cores of Cortex A78. The 4 big cores of Cortex A78 are clocked on 2.85GHz which is fast for a Flagship chipset. This chipset is fabricated using 5NM which will also help to save battery and produce less heat. I already published an article on this chipset where I told full details about this chipset, so if you want to check that out then, here is the link MediaTek Dimensity 8100.

The Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 comes with two variants of ram 6GB and 8GB Ram that’s amazing giving 8GB of ram with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100. The ram is based on LPDDR4x which is clocked on 2133MHz, the ram is 2 channels. Which is not fast as the 4 channel but still strong enough. There is also two storage options. The based one is 128GB and the high variant has 256GB of storage. This is a Flagship phone so there is also an SD card support on this Oppo Realme GT Neo 3. The storage is based on UFS 2.2 which is the fastest in the Flagship phones. The SD card support is up-to 512GB. You can insert 512GB of SD card on this Oppo Realme GT Neo 3.  The combination of LPDDR4x ram with the UFS 2.2 based storage is quite good with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100.

Benchmarks:

Geekbench 5:

Single Core 969
Multi core 3923

Now let’s talk about the benchmarks. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 has good CPU scores in the Geekbach 5. The single-core score is 969. This is quite impressive when it comes to single-core performance also the multi-core which is 3923. Which is a lot faster than the last-gen MediaTek Dimensity 8000. The single-core performance is good. This means the application opening will be faster and quicker. The multi-core scores are also good. This can hold applications in the background for a long time. And it won’t affect the speeds.

Antutu 9 Benchmarks

CPU 292507
GPU 340753
Memory 99789
UX 168359
Total score 909690

Now let’s talk about the Antutu 9 scores. The GPU is greatly optimized and has good scores, which is 340753 for a Flagship smartphone. The GPU is a lot slower than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The CPU scores are 292507. Which are a little bit faster than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The CPU scores great thanks to the 5NM fabricator. The CPU is also have good architecture based on big Cortex A78 cores. The memory also scores great. Which is 99789. The UX scores 168359. Which is fast enough to handle the dynamic refresh rate of the Oppo Realme GT Neo 3. The memory speed is a little bit slower but its fast enough. This processor can support the screen refresh rate at 144Hz. So, the UX also shows the best scores for a Flagship Processor. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 scores more than the Snapdragon 888 Plus in the Antutu 9 benchmarks in the Oppo Realme GT Neo 3.

 Software:

Operating system Android 12
ROM Realme UI 3.0

The Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 comes with Android 12 support. Which is more efficient and more powerful than Android 10. Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 also comes with a Realme UI 3.0, which is their own custom UI. It is much smoother than the Realme UI 2.0.

Battery:

Capacity 4500 mAh
Charge power 80 W
Battery type Li-Po
Replaceable No

Reverse charging No
Fast charging Yes (100% in 32 min)

When it comes to charging. This phone can support fast charging of 80 watts. It is quite impressive that this phone can charge fully in 30 minutes. There is no fast wireless charging support. The Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 comes with a 4500Mah battery. Which is just enough for daily usage. The Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 has a full day battery on a single charge it can live long up to a day.

MAIN CAMERA:

Matrix 50 megapixels
Image resolution 8700 x 5800
Zoom Digital
Flash Dual LED
Stabilization Optical
8K video recording No
4K video recording Up to 60FPS
500p video recording Up to 60FPS
Slow motion 480 FPS (720p)
Angle of widest lens 120°

Now let’s talk about the Camera. The Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 comes with a triple camera setup. The main camera is 50 megapixel F/1.9. There is an ultra-wide lens of 8megapixels as well. This is a pretty amazing Camera setup which means the photos will contain more details. There is only 4K at 60 FPS. The videos will contain more details and will be sharper thanks to its chipset. There is optical image stabilization on the main lens. The Oppo Realme GT Neo 3. Also supported the slow-motion 480P at 960 FPS. This is the same sensor that was used in the last-gen Realme 9 Pro Plus. This sensor is sharp and big. That collects more light at night thus making it the best camera sensor. The angel view of the ultra-wide is 120 degrees.

Lenses:

Wide (main) lens – 50 MP
– Aperture: f/1.9
– Focal length: 24 mm
– Sensor: 1/1.56″, Sony IMX766 (Exmor-RS CMOS)
– Phase autofocus
– Optical stabilization
Ultra-wide lens – 8 MP
– Aperture: f/2.3
– Focal length: 15 mm
– Sensor: 1/4.0″ (CMOS)
Macro lens – 2 MP
– Aperture: f/2.4
Camera features – Bokeh mode
– Pro mode

The main sensor is 50MP. Which is Sony IMX766. Sony IMX766 sensor can be seen in a lot of smartphones in the midrange category also. And also in Flagships like the OPPO Find X3 Pro, OnePlus 9RT, OPPO Reno 6 Pro. The main camera saves 12.5-megapixel images by default. These are all right with enough detail for this class and true to life colors the dynamic range is good. However, these photos are not ideal with visible noise and over-sharpening, and some corner softness. This sensor is brighter and big. Thanks to the aperture f/1.9. This sensor can take stronger portrait shots and can take great shots in the nighttime because it’s combined with a wider aperture. This sensor is very good at maintaining a good dynamic range in harsh conditions. This sensor is also good at taking very amazing portraits with strong bokeh and good depth of field. At night the main cam takes good low-light photos. There is enough detail realistic-looking exposure and well-preserved colors. The noise is handled well too night mode photos are sharper with more resolved detail and, you get a wider dynamic range with restored highlights, and develop shadows while the exposure is slightly brighter. The Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 doesn’t turn night and day but can take best night shots. It is a 50MP sensor so, combining that with great software can result in the best in smartphone photography. The autofocus in this camera sensor is incredibly fast. The sensor is a dual pixel. Overall the sensor is big, bright, and powerful. There is also Optical Image Stabilization support on this sensor. Which is not smooth like the other flagship model does, but it’s good enough to take some of the best steady shots.

There is also an ultra-wide lens of 8Mp. This is also a great sensor considering its capabilities. The 8-megapixel ultra-wide photos are ok for this price range. But nothing great you get enough contrast and wide dynamic range but they come out soft with a low level of detail and the colors are a bit off. In harsh lighting conditions, this camera sensor suffers a lot because of its aperture which is only f/2.3. This sensor cannot take enough light to take good shots at night. There’s no night mode for the ultra-wide cam you can force HDR on getting a better result, and you will end up with less noise. In the video, this camera sensor has a lot of noise. Which is very annoying. You can’t use this ultra-wide camera at night time because it will contain so much grain and noise in the videos and pictures. The sensor aperture is F/2.2 which cannot collect more light in night time thus can take average shots at night time with more noise.

There is also a 2mp macro lens. Which is not used regularly. These camera sensors can take good shots with amazing details, amazing sharpness. The main lens also has optical image stabilization. Which is not as good as the flagship phones but still can do a good job while taking photos or making videos.

SELFIE CAMERA:

Megapixels 16 megapixels
Image resolution 4920 x 3264
Aperture f/2.5
Focal length 26 mm
Sensor type ISOCELL CMOS
Sensor size 1/3.09″
Video resolution 1080p (Full HD) at 30 FPS

The Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 has a 16-megapixel Selfie Camera. It is good on the phone but, I’m so disappointed to see that there is no 4K recording on the Selfie Camera. The recording is only kept on 1080P up to 30 FPS. But considering this Selfie Camera is 16 megapixels. This means it will contain more details. It’s also F/2.4. So, that makes it not brighter enough at night time. Taking photos at night time will be a big issue for the sensor.

Connectivity:

Wi-Fi standard Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
Bluetooth version 5.2
USB type USB Type-C
USB version 2
NFC* Yes
Infrared port No

The Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 comes with Wi-Fi 6 with the Bluetooth version of 5.2. Which contains more speed and a better coverage area. Thanks for the Wi-Fi 6. It gives you a better upload and download speed. There is also an NFC port. Which is quite useful for today’s technology. Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 comes with the USB type C 2.0, which makes Charging faster and more efficient.

Network:

Number of SIM* 2
Type of SIM card Nano
Multi SIM mode Standby
eSIM support* No
Hybrid slot Yes
LTE Cat* 20
5G support Yes

Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 also has 5G support with the best bandwidth. This smartphone also has the support of LTE Cat 20 which contains a lot of bandwidth which makes the download speeds and upload speeds faster. Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 can support dual Sims at 5G. There is no Esim support. But we do get the Hybrid slot. The download and upload speeds are also great thanks to the latest modem of this MediaTek Dimensity 8100.

SOUND:

Speakers Stereo
Headphone audio jack No
Dolby Atmos Yes

Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 doesn’t have a headphone jack. It’s a Flagship smartphone so, it has Stereo speakers with Dolby atoms support. The speakers sound well. You can listen to music and can take calls with these speakers. It’s also supported by Dolby atmos which makes the sound experience on another level. The speaker has a nice amount of bass in the sound. You can feel the beat with the nice sound.

Colors:

Colors Black, Silver, Blue

The Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 comes in three colors. There is Black, Silver, and Blue. I personally like the black color, because it gives a natural look to the Oppo Realme GT Neo 3. There are three colors available on this smartphone. But I know everyone is going to put a case on the back of the Oppo Realme GT Neo 3.

Final Thoughts:

Considering this phone for gaming and for daily usage then it’s a good option. Oppo Realme GT Neo 3 is rich in specs. It has an amazing display with a new design with a bigger battery and with whapping 80 watts of fast charging. The performance of this smartphone is also great thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 8100. This processor contains big two cores of Cortex A78. Which makes the performance of this smartphone to the next level.

So, this was my review of the Oppo Realme GT Neo 3. This phone has an amazing chipset with an amazing camera.
