Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus:

Over the last few years, Qualcomm Snapdragon is leading in the mobiles chip market, but in 2022 the company has gone so far with record-breaking new chipsets. We’ve seen some amazing chipsets like Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 that top the antutu 9 benchmarks, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 that was launched in Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, and many more smartphones. Now that we have the full specs and full complete details of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus, let’s start off with the benchmarks.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus shows the best Antutu 9 scores. We can see the big jump in the GPU performance. The total performance of the GPU is 166187, which is slower than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. The CPU also shows one of the best scores. It is 163562 which is a bit slower than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. The memory scores also show a significant boost. Snapdragon 778G Plus memory is faster than Snapdragon 768G, Snapdragon 765G. The Ux is also showing one of the best performances. It is 124621, which is faster than Snapdragon 768G, and Snapdragon 765G. Total scores are above 546345. It will depend on which smartphones manufacturers using this chipset with which type of ram. Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus is considerably gaining performance boost and beating every processor in the flagship category

Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus launched with the Big 1 core of Cortex-A78 at 2.5GHz and three big cores of Cortex-A78 which are ultra-high performance cores that are clocked on 2.52 GHz. The other 4 cores are based on Cortex-A55 which is a power efficiency core. The Cortex-A78 also has the best speeds and good set instruction architecture. There are a total of 8 cores with a boost clock of 2.95 GHz. Snapdragon 778G Plus has the latest set instruction architecture. It is considerably fast and strong enough to beat some of the latest and most powerful Chipsets. Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus is fabricated on 6Nm. This means Snapdragon 778G Plus will be power efficient and will consume less battery and will produce less heat.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus has a new architecture-based GPU. Adreno 600 is the new architecture that they are using in the Snapdragon 778G Plus. The GPU is also manufactured using the 6Nm technology. Which means it will also be power efficient. The name of the GPU is Adreno 642L. This is the fastest GPU in this lineup. The Snapdragon 778G Plus is fast enough to handle games like FREE FIRE, PUBG MOBILE. The GPU score is faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus which means there will be a smooth gaming experience on this chipset.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus uses the new LPDDR5 ram with the memory frequency of 3200MHz and uses the bus of 2×16. The ram may be changed according to the smartphones. The memory frequency is also going to be changed according to smartphones. The max memory bandwidth is 25.6Gbit/s which is also faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G which was used in Oneplus Nood.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus uses the hexagon 770 which is fast with the AI calculations. Snapdragon 778G Plus uses the UFS 3.0 and UFS 3.1 which is fast. This gives you fast read and writing speeds.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus has the maximum display support of FullHD+ and can support the 120Hz refresh rate with the super Amoled. Snapdragon 778G Plus is going to be very aggressive when it comes to camera support. It supports a camera of up to 192MP. The video capture is kept on 4k at 30FPS and the video playback is also 4k at 30FPS. There is no 8k support on this Snapdragon 778G Plus. It is a bit of a shame to see there is no 8k support on a 2021 flagship processor.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus has 5G support. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus also comes with wi-fi 6 and the Bluetooth version of 5.2. This will give you better signals and better speeds. Snapdragon 778G Plus uses the X53 5G modem. It is not fast as the X65 but it gives you good speeds.

The gaming experience on this chipset is going to be a little faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. This chipset is combined with the 1 Big A78 core and three Cortex-A710 which boost the performance. With 1 big Cortex A78 core, there are also going to be a few issues with heating. The frequency of this chipset is 2.5GHz, which is good for long-term gaming. This chipset also supports the LPDDR5 ram. This means there will be no issues with using this chipset in a long-term gaming session. This chipset also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. This will help in smooth performance with low latency. This chipset is can support PUBG MOBILE at 60FPS, this is because of the scores of the GPU.
