Over the last few years, Qualcomm Snapdragon is leading in the mobiles chip market, but in 2022 the company went so far with the record-breaking new chipsets seen some amazing chipsets like Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 tops the AnTuTu 9 benchmarks, Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 that was launched in Redmi note 11 pro 5G and many more smartphones. Now we have the full specs and full complete details of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, let’s start with the benchmarks.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 shows a significant performance boost in overall performance. We know that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 tops the Antutu 9 scores. But this Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 takes that to a whole new level beating every chipset on this planet. We can see the sophisticating jump in the GPU performance and CPU performance. The total accomplishment of the GPU scores is 468846, the scores are so amazing that it can run every game at very high FPS. You can play PUBG Mobile at 90 FPS, and the frame rate will not come down from 90 FPS. Thanks to new improved GPU architecture and a little overclocked GPU. The GPU scores are so much ahead of the last-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The CPU is also gaining a tremendous boost in CPU performance. CPU performance scores are one of the best I’ve ever seen in a mobile chipset. It is 266524 which is much faster than the last-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
In mobile chipset, memory plays an important role in opening and closing applications. As you know that the faster the memory is the faster the apps will open and close. So this chipset has just taken that to a whole new level, beating almost every processor on this planet. The memory scores also show a significant boost. The score of the memory is 194987. Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 memory is so much faster than Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Ux also plays a decent role in smartphone performance because it controls the smartphone’s touch responses. This chipset can support 4K display at 165Hz refresh rate which is much better than other chipsets that we’ve seen, The UX is also showing one of the best performance scoring 187804, which is a lot faster than Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Total scores are above 1118161. It will depend on which smartphone manufacturers using this chipset with which type of ram frequency. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 is remarkably gaining a performance boost and beating every processor in the flagship category.

The single-core scores a significant performance jump in Geekbench 5. The single-core scores are 1304 which is almost 8% higher than the last-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. We were expecting a big performance jump but this is also great. It doesn’t match the scores of the Apple A15 Bionic. The multi-core scores also show a tremendous boost, this is because of slightly overclocked CPU cores. The multi-score is 4169, which is also 11% higher than the last-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. There is not much difference in the Geekbench 5 performance but given the fact that it’s 11% higher, this is also a lot of difference.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 launched with one big core of Cortex X2, which is an ultra-high performance core that is clocked on 3.2 GHz. The other 3 cores are based on Cortex-A710 which are high-power cores. There are 4 cores of power efficiency clocked on 2 GHz, which will help in getting the processor stable. The Cortex-X2 has the best speeds and good set instruction architecture. There are a total of 8. Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 has the latest set instruction architecture. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 is fabricated on 5Nm. This means Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 will be power efficient and will consume less battery and will produce less heat. The smaller the die size is the higher the chance of producing less heat. And this processor is based on 4NM which is more power-efficient and takes less power. On the main core, the speed is 3200 MHz which will help in a lot of scenarios.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 has a new architecture-based GPU. Adreno 700 is the new architecture that they are using in the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The GPU is also manufactured using the 4Nm technology. Which means it will also be power efficient. The name of the GPU is Adreno 730. This is the fastest GPU in this lineup. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 is fast enough to handle games like FREE FIRE and PUBG MOBILE. The GPU score is faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 1 which means there will be a smooth gaming experience on this chipset. The GPU is clocked at 900MHz. The shading units are also 512 which will help in rendering the graphics in gaming. There is also DirectX support of 12 which means this processor will support the latest games without any bugs and delays.

Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 is going to be very aggressive when it comes to camera support. It supports a camera of up to 200MP.
