In today’s article, I am going to review Samsung Exynos 2200. I’m going to review its AnTuTu 9, CPU, Graphics, Memory, Multimedia, Connectivity, and gaming experience.

Samsung Exynos 2200:

Over the last few years, Samsung Exynos is leading in the mobiles chip market, but in 2022 the company has gone so far with the record-breaking new chipsets. We’ve seen some amazing chipsets like Qualcomm Samsung Exynos 2100, Samsung Exynos 2200 that made into top 5 in the AnTuTu 9 benchmarks, Samsung Exynos 2100 that was launched in Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, and many more smartphones. Now we have the full specs and full complete details of the Samsung Exynos 2200, let’s start off with the benchmarks.

 Samsung Exynos 2200 shows the best AnTuTu 9 scores. We can see the big jump in GPU performance. The total performance of the GPU is 412728, which is slower than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The CPU also shows one of the best scores. It is 231679 which is a bit slower than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The memory scores also shows a significant boost. Samsung Exynos 2200 memory is faster than Snapdragon 888, Snapdragon 865G. The Ux is also showing one of the best performances. It is 164423, which is faster than Snapdragon 888, Snapdragon 865G. Total scores are above 961608. It will depend on which smartphones manufacturers use this chipset with which type of ram. Samsung Exynos 2200 is considerably gaining a performance boost and beating every processor in the flagship category. This new chipset is made with the collaboration with AMD. That’s why it scores more than the Samsung Exynos 2100.

The single-core scores show the best performance in this smartphone mid-range category lineup. The single cores scores are 1168. And the multi-core scores are 3641 which is also good at this point. This chipset multi scores are good enough to handle high tasks like Gaming, High-resolution camera, 8K recording, and social media apps.

Samsung Exynos 2200 lunched with the Big 1 core of Cortex-X2 at 2.8GHz and three big cores of Cortex-A710 which are ultra-high performance cores that are clocked on 2.52 GHz. The other 4 cores are based on Cortex-A55 which is power efficiency cores. The Cortex-X2 also has the best speeds and good set instruction architecture. There are a total of 8 cores with a boost clock of 2.95 GHz. Samsung Exynos 2200 has the latest set instruction architecture. It is considerably fast and strong enough to beat some of the latest and power-full Chipsets. Samsung Exynos 2200 is fabricated on 4Nm. This means Exynos 2200 will be power efficient and will consume less battery and will produce less heat.  With the optimized software, this chipset is powerful enough to beat the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.  Samsung Exynos 2200 has a new architecture-based GPU. Valhall 3 is the new architecture that they are using in the Samsung Exynos 2200. The GPU is also manufactured using the 4Nm technology. Which means it will also be power efficient. The name of the GPU is Samsung Xclipse 920. This is the fastest GPU in this lineup. The Samsung Exynos 2200 is fast enough to handle games like FREE FIRE, PUBG MOBILE. The GPU score is faster than the Exynos 2200 this means there will be a smooth gaming experience on this chipset. The GPU is clocked on 1300MHz, which is fast. This GPU is made with the collaboration with AMD. This GPU needs to be cool down by smartphone design or else it will overheat so fast because of the speed and the optimization.

Samsung Exynos 2200 uses the new LPDDR5 ram with a memory frequency of 3200MHz and uses the bus of 4×16. The ram may be changed according to the smartphones. The memory frequency is also going to be changed according to smartphones. The max memory bandwidth is 51.2Gbit/s which is also faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 which was used in Samsung Galaxy S10.

Samsung Exynos 2200 uses its own neural engine which is fast with AI calculations. Samsung Exynos 2200 uses the UFS 3.1 which is fast. This gives you fast read and writing speeds.

Exynos 2200 has the maximum display support of QuadHD+ and can support the 120Hz refresh rate with the super Amoled. Samsung Exynos 2200 is going to be very aggressive when it comes to a camera support. It supports a camera of up to 200MP. Samsung is working on a new image sensor which is 200MP. The video capture is kept on 8k at 60FPS and the video playback is also 8k at 60FPS. That’s great to see that this chipset can record at 8K at 60FPS.

Samsung Exynos 2200 has 5G support. The Exynos 2200 also comes with the wi-fi 6 and the Bluetooth version of 5.2. This will give you better signals and better speeds. Samsung Exynos 2200 uses the X60 5G modem. Which is not fast as the X65 but it gives you good speeds. This chipset has some of the most amazing modems because it give you more upload and download speeds than you expect.

Gaming Experience:

The gaming experience on this chipset is going to be a little faster than the Samsung Exynos 2200. This chipset is combined with the 1 Big X1 core and three Cortex-A710 which boost the performance. With 1 big Cortex X1 core, there are also going to be a few issues of heating. The frequency of this chipset is 2.95GHz, which is good for long-term gaming. This chipset also supports the LPDDR5 ram. This means there will be no issues with using this chipset on a long-term gaming session. This chipset also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. This will help in smooth performance with low latency. This chipset is can support PUBG MOBILE at 90FPS, this is because of the scores of the GPU.
