Apple M1 Max:

Apple M1 Max is the fastest processor from Apple in history. This new processor has some of the most advanced features and also has 16Cores of GPU which outperform Nvidia and AMD’s latest Graphics cards.

Cinebench R23:

Cinebench R23 (Single-Core) 1534
Cinebench R23 (Multi-Core) 12315

For decent Gaming-Performance, you should make sure you are above 1000 Cinebench R23 Single-Core Points, and this processor just smashed the other processors in the new record-breaking scores of Cinebench R23 Single-Core 1534. In 3D rendering the higher the Multi-Core Score. The better the performance you will see. Anything above 20k+ Multi-Core Points will boost the performance and will render complex scenes in less time. And this processor scores 12315. This will also help in gaming. As most of you will know that the more the single cores scores are the faster will it open and close the applications. The multicore will also help in rendering and in gaming. This processor has speeds of a whopping 3.2GHz and can be overclocked further with precautions.

Geekbench 5:

Geekbench 5 (Single-Core) 1762
Geekbench 5 (Multi-Core) 12554

Geekbench 5 Test system’s potential for gaming, image processing, and video editing with the Compute Benchmark. This also tests your GPU’s power with support for the CUDA, OpenCL, and Metal APIs. This processor scored the best in the Geekbench 5. This processor also beats some of the latest and most powerful processors with new record-breaking scores of single-core and multi-core performance. The single-core scores are 1762, and the multi-core scores are 12554. As you guys know. The higher the Geekbench 5 score the higher performance of the processor. Geekbench 5 score that is twice as high will mean the processor is twice as powerful. Ranking of single-core processors by Geekbench 5 score performance worldwide 2022.

Specifications:

Vendor Apple
Released October 18, 2021
Type Laptop
instruction set ARMv8
Socket Apple M-Socket
Integrated GPU Apple M1 Max GPU (32-core)

Apple M1 Max is a Laptop processor produced by Apple. This processor supports the Apple M1 socket. This processor has 10 cores and 10 threads. The base clock frequency of the Apple M1 Max is 2000 MHz, but with the new Turbo Boost technology, it can go up to 3200MHz. The size of the L3 cache is a whopping 24MB. This chip has also integrated graphics Apple M1 graphics with 16 cores. The instruction set architecture is based on ARMv8. This processor is so fast that it can beat some of the most powerful and latest processors. This processor also has some of the most amazing speeds. What makes it more powerful than the other processors are its TDP, transistors count, and process fabrication.

Performance:

Cores 10
Threads 10
Base Frequency 2.0 GHz
Turbo Boost Frequency 3.2 GHz
L1 Cache 192K (per core)
L2 Cache 24MB (shared)
Unlocked Multiplier No

This processor has 10 cores and 10 threads with a base clock of 2GHz and, a boost clock of 3.2GHz. The bus frequency is 100MHz. which will help PCI lanes in terms of performance. This will help in overclocking this processor with the right amount of power consumption. This processor has the fastest L1 and L2 cache memories. The L1 cache memory is 192K per core which means 16 cores have their own L1 cache memories. The L2 cache memory is 24MB but it’s shared with the Ram. In terms of gaming, this processor performs very great with good compatibility with the Apple software and with the Apple customization. In terms of video editing and graphics rendering this processor also shows the best performance. Because of its base clock of 32 Cores of Apple custom GPU.

Power Consumption:

Transistors 57 billion
Fabrication process 5 nm
TDP 30 W

When it comes to power consumption and transistor count this Apple M1 Max is the king above all the processors. This processor is based on 5Nm process fabrication. The TDP shows only 30W of power consumption. This processor cannot be overclocked. The most amazing fact about this processor is that the max temperature support of this processor is 100C which is awesome. You can play games as long as you want and this will not affect the speeds or any thermal throttling issues, because this processor is based on the 5nm technology which is freaking awesome. One other amazing fact about this processor is that it can consume the power of 30W only which is amazing because most of the new processors out there can take up to 90W of power. This processor has 57 Billion transistors which will help in getting more speeds because as you guys know, the more transistors the more instructions will execute per second. Every time I look at this processor’s performance it’s more like an illusion because it is so fast that the currently fastest processor on this planet doesn’t have that much of transistors.

Integrated GPU:

Integrated Graphics Apple M1 Max GPU (32-core)
GPU Base Clock 450 MHz
GPU Boost Clock 1296 MHz
Shading Units 4096
TMUs 256
ROPs 128
TGP 60 W
Max. Resolution 6016×3384 – 60 Hz

Unlike the AMD Ryzen processors and the Intel F series, this processor has integrated Graphics. Apple M1 Max has 4096 shading units with a base clock of 450MHz and a boost clock of 1296MHz, which is equivalent to the AMD Radeon Rx 5600XT or the Nvidia Gtx 1660ti, or the RTX 3050. There are also 256 TMUs and 128 ROPs which will help in a performance increase. The TGP shows only 60W of power consumption. What TMUs are, are texture mapping unit components in modern graphics processing units. It helps in rotating, resizing, etc. ROPs or (Raster operation pipelines) are the rendering output unit. This processor also has a powerful enough GPU that you can play High-quality games on it like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1, GTA 5, RDR 2, Assassin’s creed latest games, etc. the boost clock will help to stabilize the FPS in games. This GPU will also help in Adobe after effects as well as all the video editing and video designing software.

Ram support:

Memory types LPDDR5-6400
Memory Size 64 GB
Max. Memory Channels 8
Max. Memory Bandwidth 409.6 GB/s
ECC Support No

Apple M1 Max can support the DDR5 Ram with a memory frequency of freaking 6400MHz. The max memory support of this Apple M1 Max is 64GB. The max memory channel support is also 4. The max memory bandwidth is also 409.6 GB/s which is the highest that I’ve ever seen in the entire world. This is why it considers the best processor by Apple.

Gaming Experience:

This processor is a good option for gamers. Considering its capabilities, it performs well in almost any situation like editing, gaming, rendering, streaming, etc. So, if you are looking for a processor under $400 then I highly recommend buying this processor because it doesn’t have any alternatives. You got 10 cores, 10 threads, and a boost clock of 3.2GHz. This will play every game at high FPS with a good combination of Graphics card and Ram. You will see no issues in the performance unless there is a bottleneck. So, to avoid that, I will make complete another article on the best compatible Ram, storage, and GPU for this processor. Just let me know in the comment.
