MediaTek Helio G95:
Over the last few years, MediaTek is leading in the mobile chip market, but in 2020 the company went so far with the record-breaking new chipsets. We’ve seen some amazing chipsets like MediaTek Dimensity 1200, MediaTek Dimensity 9000 which tops the AnTuTu 9 benchmarks, and MediaTek Dimensity 1200 which was launched in Foco X3 GT and many more smartphones. Now we have the full specs and full complete details of the MediaTek Helio G95, let’s start off with the benchmarks
AnTuTu 9:
CPU | 89402 |
GPU | 98281 |
Memory | 61059 |
UX | 87364 |
Total score | 336766 |
MediaTek Helio G95 shows the best Antutu 9 scores. We can see the big jump in the GPU performance. The total performance of the GPU is 98281, which is slower than the Snapdragon 695. The CPU also shows one of the best scores. It is 89402 which is a bit slower than the Snapdragon 732G. The memory scores also show a significant boost. Helio G95 memory is faster than Snapdragon 680, and Snapdragon 678. The Ux is also showing one of the best performances. It is 87364, which is faster than Snapdragon 680, and Snapdragon 678G. MediaTek Helio G95 total scores are above 336766. It will depend on which smartphones manufacturers using this chipset with which type of ram. MediaTek Helio G95 is considerably gaining performance boost and beating every processor in the Mid-rand category
Geekbench 5:
Single-Core Score | 520 |
Multi-Core Score | 1614 |
The single-core scores show the best performance in this smartphone mid-range category lineup. The single-core scores are 520. And the multi-core scores are 1614 which is also good at this point.
CPU:
Architecture | 2x 2.05 GHz – Cortex-A76 6x 2 GHz – Cortex-A55 |
Cores | 8 |
Frequency | 2050 MHz |
Instruction set | ARMv8.2-A |
Process | 12 nanometers |
TDP | 5 W |
MediaTek Helio G95 launched with the Big 2 cores of Cortex-A76 which are ultra-high performance cores that are clocked on 2.0 GHz. The other 6 cores is based on Cortex-A55 which is a power efficiency core. There is a little disappointment that why they haven’t used the Cortex X1 or X2. But the Cortex-A76 also has the best speeds and good set instruction architecture. There are a total of 8 cores with a boost clock of 2.0 GHz. Helio G95 has the latest set of instruction architecture. It is not considered fast but it is strong enough to beat some of the latest and most powerful Chipsets. MediaTek Helio G95 is fabricated on 12Nm. This means MediaTek Helio G95 will be not power efficient and will consume more battery and will produce more heat. The TDP shows 5 watts.
Graphics:
GPU name | Mali-G76 3EEMC4 |
Architecture | Bifrost |
GPU frequency | 900 MHz |
Execution units | 4 |
Shading units | 64 |
FLOPS | 195.8 Gigaflops |
Vulkan version | 1.1 |
OpenCL version | 2.0 |
DirectX version | 12 |
MediaTek Helio G95 has a new architecture-based GPU. Bifrost is the new architecture that they are using in the Helio G95. The GPU is also manufactured using the 12Nm technology. Which means it will also be power efficient. The name of the GPU is Mali-G76 3EEMC4. This is the fastest GPU in this lineup. The MediaTek Helio G95 is fast enough to handle games like FREE FIRE, and PUBG MOBILE. The GPU score is faster than the MediaTek Helio G95 which means there will be a smooth gaming experience on this chipset. The GPU is clocked at 900MHz. The shading units are also 64 which will help in rendering the graphics in gaming. There is also DirectX support of 12 which means this processor will support the latest games without any bugs and delays.
Memory:
Memory type | LPDDR4X |
Memory frequency | 2133 MHz |
Bus | 2x 16 Bit |
Max size | 10 GB |
MediaTek Helio G95 uses the new LPDDR4x ram with the memory frequency of 2133MHz and uses the bus of 2×32. The ram may be changed according to the smartphone manufacturers, like XIAOMI, REALME, VIVO, etc. The memory frequency is also going to be changed according to the smartphone manufacturers. The max memory bandwidth is 14.9Gbit/s which is also faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 which was used in Redmi Note 11 Global. The max memory size is 10GB.
Support:
Neural processor (NPU) | Da Vinci |
Storage type | eMMC 5.1, UFS 2.1 |
Max display resolution | 2520 x 1080 |
Max camera resolution | 1x 64MP, 2x 24MP |
Video capture | 4K at 30FPS |
Video playback | 4K at 30FPS |
MediaTek Helio G95 uses the Da Vinci which is fast with the AI calculations. MediaTek Helio G95 uses the UFS 3.1 which is fast. This gives you fast read and writing speeds.
MediaTek Helio G95 has the maximum display support of FullHD+ and can support the 120hz refresh rate with the super Amoled. Helio G95 is going to be very aggressive when it comes to camera support. It supports a camera up to 64MP. The video capture is kept on 4k at 30FPS and the video playback is also 4k at 30FPS. There is no 4K 60Fps support on this MediaTek Helio G95. Which is a bit of a shame to see there is no 4K 60Fps support on a 2022 mid-range Chipset.
Connectivity:
5G support | No |
Wi-Fi | 5 |
Bluetooth | 5.0 |
MediaTek Helio G95 has no 5G support. The MediaTek Helio G95 also comes with the wi-fi 5 and the Bluetooth version of 5.0. This will give you better signals and better speeds. Helio G95 uses its own modem. It is not fast as the X25 but it gives you good speeds.
