Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G shows the best Antutu 9 scores. We can see a big jump in GPU performance. The total performance of the GPU is 115885, which is slower than the Snapdragon 778G. The CPU also shows one of the best scores. It is 127936 which is a bit slower than the Snapdragon 788G. The memory scores also show a significant boost. Snapdragon 768G memory is faster than Snapdragon 765G, and Snapdragon 732G. The Ux is also showing one of the best performances. It is 130287, which is faster than Snapdragon 765G, and Snapdragon 732G. Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G total scores are above 443939. It will depend on which smartphone manufacturers using this chipset with which type of ram. Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G is considerably gaining performance boost and beating every processor in the Mid-rand category

GeekBench 5

Single-Core Score 700
Multi-Core Score 1975

The single core scores show the best performance in this smartphone mid-range category lineup. The single core scores are 769. And the multi-core scores are 2797 which is also good at this point.

CPU:

Architecture 1x 2.8 GHz – Kryo 475 Prime (Cortex-A76)
1x 2.4 GHz – Kryo 475 Gold (Cortex-A76)
6x 1.8 GHz – Kryo 475 Silver (Cortex-A55)
Cores 8
Frequency 2800 MHz
Instruction set ARMv8.3-A
Process 7 nanometers
TDP 5 W

Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G launched with the Big 4 cores of Cortex-A76 which are ultra-high performance cores that are clocked on 2.4 GHz. The other 4 cores are based on Cortex-A55 which is a power efficiency core. There is a little disappointment that why they haven’t used the Cortex X1 or X2. But the Cortex-A76 also has the best speeds and good set instruction architecture. There are total of 8 cores with a boost clock of 2.4 GHz. Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G has the latest set instruction architecture. It is not considered fast but it is strong enough to beat some of the latest and most powerful Chipsets. Snapdragon 768G is fabricated on 5Nm. This means Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G will be power efficient and will consume less battery and will produce less heat.

Graphics:

GPU name Adreno 620
Architecture Adreno 600
GPU frequency 750 MHz
Execution units 3
Shading units 192
FLOPS 700 Gigaflops
Vulkan version 1.1
OpenCL version 2.0
DirectX version 12

Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G has a new architecture-based GPU. Adreno 600 is the new architecture that they are using in the  Snapdragon 768G. The GPU is also manufactured using the 5Nm technology. Which means it will also be power efficient. The name of the GPU is Adreno 620. This is the fastest GPU in this lineup. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G is fast enough to handle games like FREEFIRE, PUBG MOBILE. The GPU score is faster than the Snapdragon 768G which means there will be a smooth gaming experience on this chipset. The GPU is clocked on 750MHz. The shading units are also 192 which will help in rendering the graphics in gaming. There is also DirectX support of 12 which means this processor will support the latest games without any bugs and delays.

Memory:

Memory type LPDDR4X
Memory frequency 2133 MHz
Bus 2x 16 Bit
Max bandwidth 17 Gbit/s
Max size 12 GB

Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G uses the new LPDDR4x ram with the memory frequency of 2133MHz and uses the bus of 2×16. The ram may be changed according to the smartphone manufacturers, like XIAOMI, REALME, VIVO, etc. The memory frequency is also going to be changed according to the smartphone manufacturers. The max memory bandwidth is 17Gbit/s which is also faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G which was used in Oneplus Nord. The max memory support is 12GB.

Support:

Neural processor (NPU) Hexagon 696
Storage type UFS 3.0
Max display resolution 3200 x 1800
Max camera resolution 1x 192MP, 2x 22MP
Video capture 4K at 30FPS
Video playback 4K at 30FPS

Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G uses the hexagon 696 which is fast with the AI calculations. Snapdragon 768G uses the UFS 3.0 which is fast. This gives you fast reading and writing speeds.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G has the maximum display support of QuadHD+ and can support the 120hz refresh rate with the super Amoled. Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G is going to be very aggressive when it comes to a camera support. It supports cameras up-to 192MP. The video capture is kept on 4k at 60FPS and the video playback is also 4k at 60FPS. There is no 8k support on this Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G. It is a bit of a shame to see there is no 8k support on a 2022 mid-range smartphone.

Connectivity:

Modem X52
5G support Yes
Wi-Fi 6
Bluetooth 5.0

Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G has 5G support. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G also comes with wi-fi 6 and the Bluetooth version of 5.0. This will give you better signals and better speeds. Snapdragon 768G uses the Snapdragon X52 5G modem. It is not fast as the X65 but it gives you good speeds.

Smartphones

Phones with Snapdragon 768G AnTuTu v9
1. Vivo iQOO Z3 443939

Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G is launched in this 1 smartphone. As you can see these smartphone scores are different. Vivo iQOO Z3 is at the top. Which is a considerably great phone with this chipset.

Gaming Experience:

The gaming experience on this chipset is going to be a little faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. This chipset is combined with the 4 Big A76 cores which boost performance. With 4 big Cortex A-78 cores, there are also going to be a few issues with heating. The frequency of this chipset is 2.4 GHz, which is good for long-term gaming. This chipset also supports the LPDDR4x ram. This means there will be no issues of using this chipset on a long-term gaming session. This chipset also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. This will help in smooth performance with low latency. This chipset is can support PUBG MOBILE at 60FPS, this is because of the scores of the GPU.
