Introduction:

Well, Samsung is going to launch another foldable smartphone with one of the most amazing specs and features. We know the Z series of Samsung, they are the foldable series Samsung. These smartphones are known as one of the best foldable smartphones in the entire world. When Samsung came up with the idea of a foldable smartphone, there was a lot going on in the market. Some say the company will fail its product. But when they released the first Samsung Z fold, the entire world was shocked, because it was the most premium foldable smartphone ever. Off course there were some major drawbacks but, Samsung fixed them with new models. And now we have the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, one of the best foldable smartphones. So we will give you our honest review and our initial thoughts on this smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a huge display. Its 7.6 inches DYNAMIC AMOLED, 120Hz, with HDR10+ support, and freaking 1200 nits (peak) brightness display.  It is also Full HD+ with a PPI density of 372. The gaming experience is also going to be very good because it’s a 120Hz display and also the content watching will be amazing. Thanks to DCIP3 technology. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is using the DYNAMIC AMOLED panel. This will not only save the battery but will also help with heat dissipation. This huge display will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus Plus, the toughest protection out there on the market. One of the best things about this foldable smartphone is its screen-to-body ratio, it’s almost 89.9% which is crazy. Its dynamic AMOLED means the screen refresh rate will be changing under various conditions, if an app uses 60Hz then the refresh rate will be changed to 60, and vice versa.

Samsung is known for its amazing designs. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 with the new design, looks more futuristic and strong. The rear is made of Glass. The frame is made of metal which makes it stronger than the previous Z folds. There’s IPX8 water and dust resistance. It’s protected by a Metallic frame that’s why it makes it heavier 282 grams. Talking about the design, the Camera bump is quite a good place. The camera bump looks familiar with the OPPO Reno 8. Talking about the fingerprint scanner it’s located in the home button and it’s fast with new features. I like this in-home button fingerprint scanner because it is faster and more efficient than the in-display fingerprint scanner.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be launching with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 plus Gen 1. This chipset is one of the fastest chipsets on the planet right now, its scores in the top 3 in Antutu 9 benchmarks. It also makes the phone experience much smoother with the 120Hz display. The gaming experience is also going to be good. The Adreno 730 is one of the most powerful GPUs in a Flagship phone, which makes the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 more powerful than other Flagship smartphones. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is lunching with one variant of ram and two variants of storage. 12GB RAM with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 plus Gen 1 is a good combination. The ram is LPDDR5 and clocked on 2750MHz. there are two storage options which are 256, and 512GB which are good for a Flagship smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 has the fastest UFS 3.1 storage support. There is no SD card support.

Now let’s talk about the benchmarks. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 plus Gen 1 has good CPU scores in the Geekbach 5. The single-core score is 1356. Which is quite impressive when it comes to single-core performance and also the multi-core which is 3845. Which is a bit slower than the newly launched Samsung Exynos 1280. You can check that out.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Has a Triple Camera setup. The main camera is 50 Megapixels F/1.8. The secondary camera is a 12MP telephoto camera sensor. The third one is ultra-wide which is also 12MP. This camera is a huge improvement over the last gen Z fold 3.

The main sensor is 50 Megapixels. This sensor is brighter and big. Thanks to the aperture f/1.8. This sensor can take stronger portrait shots and can take great shots in the nighttime because it’s combined with a wider aperture. This is also a great sensor considering its capabilities. There is also a 2mp macro lens and a 2MP depth lens. Which is not used regularly. These camera sensors can take good shots with amazing details, and amazing sharpness. The main lens also has digital image stabilization. Thanks to the aperture f/1.8. This sensor can take stronger portrait shots and can take great shots in the nighttime because it’s combined with a wider aperture. There is also 2MP of macro and depth lens which is not useful in most situations. The camera features Bokeh mode and pro mode. In pro mode, the camera gets full control of the user which is quite useful. The 5 MP ultra-wide sensor can contain sharpness and good details in daylight.

Well I’ve never seen this widest aperture on the selfie camera in a smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a 10-megapixel Selfie Camera. Their recording is kept on 4K up to 30 FPS. But considering this Selfie Camera is 10 megapixels. This means it will contain more details. It’s also F/1.8 which will result in the most amazing selfie in almost every situation.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes with Wi-Fi 6E with the Bluetooth version of 5.2. Which contains more speed and a better coverage area. Thanks for the Wi-Fi 6E. It gives you a better upload and download speed. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes with USB type C 3.2, which makes it faster and more efficient. There is NFC support in this smartphone.

So, this was my review of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. This phone has an amazing chipset with an amazing camera. So, I highly recommend buying this phone if you are looking for a good value Flagship phone.
