When it comes to midrange smart phones. Xiaomi is best known for its smartphones. Over the last few years Xiaomi gave us some of crazy smartphones like Redmi note 8, note 9, note 9 pro, mi 11 lite, note 10, Redmi 10, note 10s, and the most popular the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro was the best midrange smartphone in 2021 but, now its successor is launched in the global market that is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro. The phone I was waiting to cover up for a long time. When it was released in China back in 2021. Now let’s review this smartphone because it has some of the new features like a new chipset, new design, new software, and new display, etc.
Let’s start off with the chipset because it’s been a major update in this Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro. The chipset they are using is the snapdragon 695 and it has some of the amazing updates like new architecture, new cortex cores, and updated graphics. The CPU performance is also been upgraded from the snapdragon 690. The snapdragon 695 is based on 6NM technology so, it’s power efferent and also powerful in GPU and in CPU performance. Now let’s start off with its specs
Xiaomi Redmi note 11 Pro Specification:
Chipset | Qualcomm Snapdragon 695
|
nanometers | 6 |
Graphics | Adreno 619 |
Max. Clock | 2200 MHz |

6 cores at 1.7 GHz: Kryo 660 Silver (Cortex A55) 2 cores at 2.2 GHz: Kryo 660 Gold (Cortex A78)
|
The two cores is Based on cortex A78 and clocked on 2.2Ghz which is amazing to see the cortex A78 cores in this mid range processor. The snapdragon 695 also have 6 cores at cortex A55 at 1.7Ghz for power Efficiency. The snapdragon 695 is also using the adreno 619 which is 30% faster then the snapdragon 720G adreno 618 graphics, which was used in the Redmi note 10 pro. Now let’s talk about the AnTuTu benchmarks.
AnTuTu Benchmark 9
CPU | 124230 |
GPU | 102102 |
Memory | 69180 |
UX | 109747 |
Total score | 405024 |
The AnTuTu benchmark shows significant upgrade in CPU performance scoring 124230 which is far greater than the snapdragon 732G. This is because it’s a 5G chipset; in the GPU performance it’s also been upgraded from the snapdragon 732G. It’s because of the new GPU the adreno 619 which is 30% faster. The memory is still the same as before scoring 69180 and the ux is also the same 109747. The total score is 30% faster than the snapdragon 732G which is 405024.
Ram
RAM size | 6, 8 GB |
Memory type | LPDDR4X |
Memory clock | 2133 MHz |

Its ram is also been a good upgrade from the last year snapdragon 732G. This processor is using the LPDDR4X with memory clock of 2133Mhz, which is also faster then the last year snapdragon 732G which was 1833mhz. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro is using two channels of ram and also comes with the two sizes. The first one is 6GB and the second one is 8GB.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro comes in two storage varieties the base one is 64GB and the second one is 128GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro is using the ufs 2.2 which is a little bit faster than the ufs 2.1. It have better read and write speeds. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro also support the micro SD card and can support up to 1TB that’s awesome because you can buy the one TB card and this phone can support that.

The display is same as the old one which was used in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. Its 6.67 inches full Hd+ display with the 120 Hz refresh rate. It’s also super AMOLED which makes it sharper and brighter than the LCD displays. This display also support the HDR10+ content so watching movies on Netflix and watching TV shows and playing games will be amazingly good. It’s also protected by the gorilla glass 5 which is strong enough. There are a lot of features of this display but what makes it more powerful is its max brightness which is almost 1200nits. There will be no issues using this phone in bright sunlight thanks to whapping 1200nits of peak brightness.

The height, weight and width is the same as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro is also have the certification from IP53 which is splash and dust resistant. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro frame is made from plastic. It’s not strong compared to the aluminum frame but it can hold a few shocks. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro back is made of glass which is gorilla glass 5. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro comes in 3 colors which are white, gray, and blue; I personally like the blue one’s better. The fingerprint scanner is located on the home button as same as the Redmi Note 10 pro.
Battery
Type | Li-Po 5000 mAh, non-removable |
Charging | Fast charging 67W, 50% in 15 min, 100% in 42 min (advertised) |
Wireless charging | No |
Reverse charging | No |
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro comes with 5000mah battery. Which is same as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro but this time the charging speeds is faster because of the supporting of 67watts fast charging. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro can fully charge in just 42 minutes and can stay long for a day. Now let’s talk about the main highlight of this smartphone which is the camera of this phone.
Camera
megapixels | 108 |
Image resolution | 12032 x 9024 |
Stabilization | Digital |
8K video recording | No |
4K video recording | No |
1080p video recording | Up to 60FPS |
Zoom Digital, Flash | LED |
Angle of widest lens | 118° |
Lenses | 3 (108 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP) |
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro have the triple Camera setup. The main Lens is 108mp, 8mp ultra wide and the 2mp macro sensor. I’m so much disappointed to see that there is no 4k recoding support on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro. It’s because of the snapdragon 695 because, it doesn’t support the 4k record and 4k playback. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro can only support 1080p up to 30 fps. Now let’s talk about the lenses of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro uses three lenses.
Wide (main) lens | 108 MP |
Aperture | f/1.9 Focal length: 26 mm |
Pixel size | 0.7 micron |
Sensor | 1/1.52”, Samsung S5KHM2 (ISOCELL Plus CMOS) |
Phase | autofocus (Dual Pixel) |
Which is the same is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro but, this time with the new processing and new chipset. But still disappointed to see there’s no 4k recoding despite it’s108Mp. There is also ultra-wide lens which is
Ultra wide lens | 8 MP |
Aperture | f/2.2 Pixel size: 1.14 micron |
Sensor | ½.8”, Sony IMX355 (Exmor RS CMOS) |
That’s also the same sensor as what they’ve used in the redmi note 10 pro. And there is useless macro camera sensor which is
Macro lens | 2 MP |
Aperture | f/2.4 Pixel size: 1.25 micron |
Sensor | Omni vision OV12A10 (CMOS) |
The camera also have many features with their new MUI 13. Like Bokeh mode pro mode.
Selfie camera
Megapixels | 16 megapixels |
Image resolution | 4608 x 3456 |
Aperture | f/2.4 Sensor type CMOS |
Video | 1080p at 30 FPS |
It’s also the same as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro but, slightly bigger in pixel count and also with new image processing. The video is kept on 1080p at 30 fps. Its Apturter is 2.4 which is going to be a big problem when you want to take selfie’s in night time. Because it’s not wide enough to capture more light.
Connectivity
Wi Fi | 5 |
Bluetooth version | 5.1 |
USB Type | Type C |
Infrared port | Yes |
NFC* | Depends on the region |
The connectivity is also same as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. I’m little disappointed to see the Wi-Fi 5 they could’ve used the Wi-Fi 6 but seeing the Wi-Fi 5. It’s not good compare with the Wi-Fi 6. It’s much slower in download and upload speeds.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro also supports the 5G connectivity. There are still some countries that don’t have the 5G yet so it’s going to depend on where you live. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro also have 3.5 mm headphone jack and also comes with the Dolby Atoms speakers which have better bass and better sound.
I like the super AMOLED display and the helio G96 here.
Well yeah its a great update from the last gen Redmi note 11 pro.
