Huawei Honor X8 (2022) has an amazing display. Its 6.67 inches IPS LCD, 90Hz, with no HDR10 support, and 608 nits (peak) brightness display. It is also Full HD+ with a PPI density of 391. The display is punchier and fast with 90Hz support, and more colorful. The gaming experience is also going to be very good because it’s a 90Hz display and also the content watching will be good. Thanks to DCIP3 technology. Huawei Honor X8 (2022) is using the IPS LCD panel. This is not good as the SuperAmoled but this display is also capable of delivering faster performance with no touch lag issuers. The display is also protected by tempered glass. Huawei is known for its good software optimization when it comes to displaying.

Huawei is known for its amazing designs. Huawei Honor X8 (2022) with the new design, looks more futuristic and strong. The rear is made of plastic. The frame is also made of plastic, which makes it lighter. There’s no IP68 water and dust resistance. In this Huawei Honor X8 (2022), we got to see the better design and the better back. Which is good to see on the mid-range phone. It’s protected by a plastic frame that’s why it makes it lighter by 177 grams. Talking about the design, the Camera bump is quite a good place. The camera bump looks familiar with the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. Talking about the fingerprint scanner it’s located on the home button and it’s fast with new features. I like the in-home button fingerprint scanner because it is faster and more efficient than the in-display fingerprint scanner.

Huawei Honor X8 (2022) comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. Which scores great on Antutu 9 benchmarks. It also makes the phone experience much smoother with the 90Hz display. The gaming experience is also going to be good. The Adreno 610 is one of the most powerful GPUs in a mid-range phone, which makes the Huawei Honor X8 (2022) more powerful than other mid-range smartphones. Huawei Honor X8 (2022) is lunching with one variant of ram and one variant of storage. 6GB RAM with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 is a good combination. The ram is LPDDR4X and clocked on 2133MHz. there is only one storage option which is 128GB which is good for a mid-range smartphone. The Huawei Honor X8 (2022) has fast UFS 2.1 storage support. There is also an SD card support. Which is a bit odd to see on a mid-range smartphone.

Now let’s talk about the benchmarks. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 has good CPU scores in the Geekbach 5. The single-core score is 385. Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 shows average Antutu 9 scores. We can see the big jump loss in the GPU and CPU performance. The total score of the GPU is 38425, which is faster than the Snapdragon 662. The CPU also shows one of the best scores. It is 81097 which is a bit slower than the Snapdragon 732G. The memory scores also show a significant boost. Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 memory is faster than Snapdragon 665G, Snapdragon 662G. The Ux is also showing one of the best performances. It is 63600, which is faster than Snapdragon 665G, Snapdragon 662G. Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 total scores are above 250053. Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 is considerably gaining performance boost and beating some of the latest processors in the Mid-range category.

Huawei Honor X8 (2022) comes with a Quad Camera setup. The main camera is 64 Megapixels F/1.8. There is an ultra-wide-angle lens of 5 MP. There are also useless macro and depth sensors. This is a pretty amazing Camera setup which means the photos will contain more details. There is only 1080P at 30 FPS video support. The videos will contain more details and will be sharper thanks to its chipset. There is no optical image stabilization. But there is digital stabilization, which just zooms in the camera while recording and cuts the edges, thus making a bit soft and a bit sable video. When it comes to dynamic range and sharpness this camera can handle that in harsh light conditions while maintaining good noise control.

This sensor can take stronger portrait shots and can take great shots in the nighttime because it’s combined with a wider aperture. This is also a great sensor considering its capabilities. There is also a 2mp macro lens and a 2MP depth lens. Which is not used regularly. These camera sensors can take good shots with amazing details, and amazing sharpness. The main lens also has digital image stabilization. Thanks to the aperture f/1.8. This sensor can take stronger portrait shots and can take great shots in the nighttime because it’s combined with a wider aperture. There is also 2MP of macro and depth lens which is not useful in most situations. The camera features bokeh mode and pro mode. In pro mode, the camera gets full control of the user which is quite useful. The 5 MP ultra-wide sensor can contain sharpness and good details in daylight.

This means it will contain more details. It’s also F/2.5. Which will help to collect more light at night photography. The sensor is bright and wide which makes the selfie camera a good upgrade.
