Total score 1118161

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 shows a significant performance boost in overall performance. We know that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 tops the Antutu 9 scores. But this Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 takes that to a whole new level beating every chipset on this planet. We can see the sophisticating jump in the GPU performance and CPU performance. The total accomplishment of the GPU scores is 468846, the scores are so amazing that it can run every game at very high FPS. You can play PUBG Mobile at 90 FPS, and the frame rate will not come down from 90 FPS. Thanks to new improved GPU architecture and a little overclocked GPU. The GPU scores are so much ahead of the last-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The CPU is also gaining a tremendous boost in CPU performance. CPU performance scores are one of the best I’ve ever seen in a mobile chipset. It is 266524 which is much faster than the last-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

In mobile chipset, memory plays an important role in opening and closing applications. As you know that the faster the memory is the faster the apps will open and close. So this chipset has just taken that to a whole new level, beating almost every processor on this planet. The memory scores also show a significant boost. The score of the memory is 194987. Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 memory is so much faster than Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Ux also plays a decent role in smartphone performance because it controls the smartphone’s touch responses. This chipset can support 4K display at 165Hz refresh rate which is much better than other chipsets that we’ve seen, The UX is also showing one of the best performance scoring 187804, which is a lot faster than Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Total scores are above 1118161. It will depend on which smartphone manufacturers using this chipset with which type of ram frequency. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 is remarkably gaining a performance boost and beating every processor in the flagship category.

Geekbench 5:

Single-Core Score 1304
Multi-Core Score 4169

The single-core scores a significant performance jump in Geekbench 5. The single-core scores are 1304 which is almost 8% higher than the last-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. We were expecting a big performance jump but this is also great. It doesn’t match the scores of the Apple A15 Bionic. The multi-core scores also show a tremendous boost, this is because of slightly overclocked CPU cores. The multi-score is 4169, which is also 11% higher than the last-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. There is not much difference in the Geekbench 5 performance but given the fact that it’s 11% higher, this is also a lot of difference.

CPU:

Architecture 1x 3.2 GHz – Cortex-X2
3x 2.75 GHz – Cortex-A710
4x 2 GHz – Cortex-A510
Cores 8
